Upholstery Inspection Services

Know what needs attention before it becomes a replacement. UpholsteryLink coordinates furniture and upholstery inspections for commercial and medical facilities: we document condition, identify repair and reupholstery needs, prioritize the recommended work and help you plan service across one location or many.

Request an Inspection

One-time or recurring, one site or many

Inspections fit how your facilities operate, whether you need a single snapshot or ongoing visibility.

One-time inspection

  • Before a renovation, budget cycle or lease turnover
  • After complaints or visible wear
  • A condition baseline for a facility you’ve just taken on

Recurring inspection program

  • Scheduled visits: quarterly, twice a year or annually
  • Condition tracked over time, piece by piece
  • Wear caught early, while repair is still an option

Single location

  • A clinic, office, lobby or dining room
  • Every upholstered piece, or just the areas you choose
  • Findings organized by room

Multiple locations

  • Medical groups, property portfolios and multi-site operators
  • One request covers every site
  • Priorities planned across locations, not one at a time

What an inspection covers

  • Condition documentation

Each piece is recorded with its location and current condition, so nothing depends on memory.

  • Photos

Photos of the piece and of any wear, tears, stains or failing seams show exactly what was found.

  • Recommendations

A recommended action for each piece: no action yet, clean, repair, reupholster or replace.

  • Prioritization

Findings ranked by urgency, so the pieces that matter most are handled first and the rest can be planned and budgeted.

  • Furniture inventory

A running list of the upholstered furniture and equipment at each location.

  • Follow-up service requests

Approve the work you want and it becomes a service request. There’s no new form to fill in.

How an inspection works

  1. Request an inspection: tell us the locations and the furniture to include.

  2. UpholsteryLink coordinates the visit and confirms timing and site access with you.

  3. Each piece is documented with photos, its condition and a recommended action.

  4. You receive prioritized findings and choose what to schedule. Follow-up work starts as a request.

  • Offices & commercial spaces

Lobby furniture, conference seating and common areas across your buildings.

  • Hospitality

Booths, banquettes, bar stools and lounge seating in restaurants, hotels and clubs.

  • Property & facility management

Consistent condition records across the properties you manage.

Questions about inspections

Can you inspect more than one location?
Yes. One request can cover several sites, and findings are organized by location so you can plan work across all of them.
Is an inspection a one-time visit or ongoing?
Either. Request a one-time inspection, or set up a recurring schedule, such as quarterly or annually, to track condition over time.
What happens after the inspection?
You receive documented findings with photos and a recommended action for each piece, prioritized by urgency. Approve the items you want, and they become service requests.
Do you inspect home furniture?
Inspection services focus on commercial and medical facilities. For furniture at home, request a quote and we’ll help from there.
Where are inspections available?
In Sacramento, Elk Grove, Galt and the surrounding area. Requests from nearby communities are reviewed case by case.
How do I start?
Choose Request an Inspection. It opens the quote request with the inspection already selected, and you tell us the locations and furniture to include.
